The memory care facility at The Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens (SJG) is a U-shaped building surrounding a secure courtyard. Common spaces are strategically located to be easily accessible by each resident.
Each unit features a private bathroom. Amenities such as a dining room, living room, common kitchen, beauty salon, and spa are located in the center of the building to be only a few steps away from each unit. The architecture of The Grove was designed to compliment the Italiante features of the other facilities on the CCRC campus.
The memory care wing at SJG features personalized memory boxes outside each unit. This feature allows reesidents to customize the entrance of their units with familiar objects and pictures. A looping path goes around the inside of the building and continues through the memory garden. Dining and living spaces are connected to the garden with a shaded outdoor area.
