The modern, state-of-the-art aquatic & fitness center offers weekly classes in aerobics, aquatic exercise, and Tai Chi. Residents can also swim laps, enjoy a snack at the café, or relax in the spa. The equipment chosen for the fitness center was well researched to make sure that each piece was the best option for the residents at Nueva Vista and the entire La Vida Llena campus.
The exterior of the aquatic and fitness center is consistent with the campus's contemporary New Mexico Pueblo style. Inside, high ceilings and plenty of natural lighting make a beautiful combination. Lounge chairs with side tables line the pool's edges, providing a great place for residents to rest after a swim.
The aquatic center offers a heated 30 x 60 FT pool with special waveless technology, as well as a jacuzzi. The fitness center encourages healthy, active aging by supplying a variety of exercise equipment. The entry doors have no thresholds, making moving around safer and easier for residents.
