GENERAL OVERVIEW

The six story over basement Classic Care Residence is phase II of a three phase high-rise on a CCRC campus.  The building anchors the two existing residential towers.  DPA worked closely with Walt Stahl, OSHPD Regional Supervisor, to process the plans for the facility through OSHPD approval.

BUILDING DESCRIPTION

The architecture of the building was influenced by Spanish design and compliments the rich colonial style of San Diego as well as the existing buildings on campus.  The series of arches on the first floor provide shade around the building.  The arches and details throughout the facade give the building lots of character and charm.

SIGNATURE FEATURES

The center offers the best-in-class living environment with well-appointed amenities and unexpected levels of service.  The facility features a rehabilitation therapy gym, private theater, and gourmet meals to help residents stay in their best shape physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
