The new independent living building on the Town and Country Manor campus will be a huge addition to the community. As a CCRC, Town and Country is making a continuing care promise, "A promise, expressed or implied, by a provider to provide one or more elements of care to an elderly resident for the duration of his or her life or for a term in excess of a year."
The eight-story tower's façade features art deco and contemporary architectural elements which anchor the corner of Memory Lane and Lawson Way. The new building is strategically placed to form a courtyard in relation to the existing building. The courtyard is provided with several pedestrian paths to create a connection between both buildings.
The residents of the new independent living building will be able to take advantage of all the amenities within walking distance at the existing campus such as classes taught by local community colleges, classes taught by residents, and various religious activities.
