DPA at CANstruction Orange County

DPA is partnering with Silverado Senior Living to participate in the 9th Annual Canstruction Orange County Design/Building Competition this weekend. The build will take place Friday night with judging on September 10. The structures will be on display from September 3rd through 25th at South Coast Plaza. Stay tuned for photos of our structure!

Artesia Christian Home Ribbon Cutting

Artesia Christian Home held their ribbon cutting ceremony in June which included a BBQ and tours of the recently completed Memory Care Home. We are proud to have collaborated with ACH to expand their campus and care services to 28 seniors with dementia related illnesses.

Bluebeam Extreme Conference 2016

Ralston Creek

DPA recently completed Ralston Creek located in Arvada, Colorado and attended the grand opening celebration just a few weeks ago. This is our latest senior living project which will provide quality care assisted living and memory care services for 120 seniors in the Denver area. Congratulations to our amazing client and operator.

DPA Writes Article for CALA Magazine

DPA's own Emily Tragish and Douglas Pancake, alongside Michael White, Senior Lighting Designer at Schuler Shook, wrote an article for the Winter issue of CALA Magazine.  The article addresses ways to use light and darkness in senior living facilities to create healthier and happier environments for the aging.  It also features a few examples from some of our projects. NAHB Award

Douglas Pancake Architects had a great time at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Best of 55+ Housing Awards Ceremony at the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas.  We were honored to win the Silver Award in the Best 55+ Independent Living Community On the Boards category for our Pacifica Senior Arts Community project in Sacramento, California.
