DPA recently completed Ralston Creek located in Arvada, Colorado and attended the grand opening celebration just a few weeks ago. This is our latest senior living project which will provide quality care assisted living and memory care services for 120 seniors in the Denver area. Congratulations to our amazing client and operator.

Grand Opening: The Pointe at Summit Hills

Douglas Pancake Architects proudly attended the grand opening for The Pointe at Summit Hills in Bakersfield, California.  This beautiful facility features both assisted living and memory care units with private courtyards.   Amenities abound which encourage socialization between residents, personal growth, and healthy, active aging.

Building Community Through Architecture

The book New Aging challenges how we think about designing spaces for the elderly. Architect Matthias Hollwich, who has an architectural firm in New York and works with students at the University of Pennsylvania, "discovered through practice and personal experience, designing buildings and cities to better accommodate the eldest among us helps us all by creating communities that are more socially connected and accessible."
