GlenBrook Health Center Expansion added 24 skilled nursing beds. It offers skilled nursing services for short term and post-op rehabilitation, streamlining the transition from hospital to home. The center offers its services to the surrounding community as well as the residents of La Cost Glen, the adjacent continuing care retirement community.
The porte cochere is a prominent and defining exterior feature of the expansion. Palm trees and well-placed lighting create a welcoming scene, even for evening entrances. Neutral colored stucco blends the new health center expansion beautifully with the La Costa Glen CCRC. Inside the building, lots of natural light provides a welcoming atmosphere.
The center is staffed with registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses, plus physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Other features include a fitness/rehabilitation room, game room, communal dining areas, and outdoor sitting areas.
