The Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens (SJG) features a new master plan for the repositioning of the campus to include all levels of care, each emphasizing healthy aging guided by their signature Masterpiece Living program. In order to assure residents’ comfort and privacy, a complex phasing plan was implemented during construction of the campus.
The Grove is the memory care facility at SJG that supports meaningful life experiences. Embracing the household model, the skilled nursing facility, has three 18-bed households. All buildings were designed to maintain and continue the integrity of the existing gardens.
Designed around the concept of a formal boulevard, SJG encompasses nine traditional Italiante buildings. Amenities at SJG include day spa services, dining venues, and activity spaces. A network of pedestrian paths connect the nine buildings and promote outdoor physical fitness.
